Make a Mad, Mad, Mad, Neuron
In this activity I worked with a Dr. Dendristein to create and label two Neurons. As I created a neuron I was to label the following parts: cell body, nucleus, dendrites, axon, myelin sheath, and the axon terminals. As you finished, the Dr. Dendristein sent an electrical current through the neuron to bring it alive and you could then see how the cells transfers information from one neuron to the next. This activity was made it fun to learn the parts of a neuron and I would definitely recommend others to use it to teach their children's the different parts of a neuron cell. I agree with you I find the activity to be educational and fun in order to learn the different parts of the neuron cell. Good job finding an in- depth video and image about the neuron.
