University Of Utah: An Online Science Lab to Explore

Make a Mad, Mad, Mad, Neuron
In this activity I worked with a Dr. Dendristein to create and label two Neurons. As I created a neuron I was to label the following parts: cell body, nucleus, dendrites, axon, myelin sheath, and the axon terminals. As you finished, the Dr. Dendristein sent an electrical current through the neuron to bring it alive and you could then see how the cells transfers information from one neuron to the next. This activity was made it fun to learn the parts of a neuron and I would definitely recommend others to use it to teach their children's the different parts of a neuron cell.

My Pet Peeve: People who take up two parking spots

Do you really need both spots? P
People who take up two parking spots make my skin boil, especially when there aren't many spots available in the first place. You have one car, that means you should only take up ONE parking spot!
